I graduated from the University of Teesside in 2007. Prior to gaining my Sports Therapy degree I worked for Middlesbrough Rugby Union Football Club as a sports masseuse. Having completed F.A. courses, in the Management and Treatment of Sport Injuries, I was responsible for providing on-field care for senior players during matches and training sessions. Since commencing my degree I have taken over responsibility for Middlesbrough’s 2nd XV and been promoted to assistant club therapist.
My experience with sports teams includes rugby league, rugby union, treating amateur and professional players and martial arts. Although recently qualified I have over twelve years experience of working with both recreational and elite athletes, experience which I believe is invaluable when treating and rehabilitating athletes. I enjoy the challenge of a complex injury or condition, and using logic to reach a solution.
